Level 1 of the Abdominoplasty Master Program offers a comprehensive, step-by-step introduction to abdominoplasty for beginner surgeons and physicians entering the field of aesthetic body contouring. Divided over two days, this course combines a full day of theoretical learning with a hands-on surgical training day focused on anatomical dissection, surgical planning, and practical exposure.

By the end of this module, participants will gain a solid clinical and technical foundation to progress confidently toward advanced levels of the master program.

Course Content

📖 Day 1 – Theoretical Foundations (8 Hours)
Module 1: Core Abdominal Anatomy for Surgeons • Layers: skin, fat, fascia, muscle • Vascular supply & nerve pathways • Zones of adherence and danger zones Module 2: Procedure Types & Selection • Full, mini, extended, fleur-de-lis • Liposuction-assisted techniques • Indications and contraindications Module 3: Patient Evaluation & Expectations • BMI, comorbidities, skin tone, diastasis • Pre-op documentation and informed consent • Communicating realistic results Module 4: Preoperative Planning • Marking guidelines and incision planning • Choosing anesthesia and pain management plans • Scheduling, team prep, and OR readiness Module 5: Postoperative Care • Early complication recognition (seroma, hematoma) • Compression garments, drains, and wound management • Activity restrictions and patient instructions

✂️ Day 2 – Practical Hands-On Training (8 Hours)
Live Demonstration & Hands-On Practice: • Step-by-step surgical marking and incision practice • Dissection techniques and understanding tissue planes • Simulation of abdominal wall plication • Drain placement and suturing techniques • Case discussions: planning based on real patients • Practice under expert supervision
